About
Chef Imana’s culinary work began as intimate dinner parties hosted on the deck of her Oakland home. When the project expanded into brick-and-mortar restaurants, the architecture sought to preserve that sense of closeness and improvisation.
Hi Felicia in Oakland layers vivid color, handmade objects, and expressive lighting into a dining room that feels theatrical yet deeply personal.

Sluts the Wine Bar in San Francisco pushes that energy outward, opening the façade and placing the social life of the restaurant directly on display. Both spaces extend Imana’s concept of “vulgar fine dining,” where humor, spectacle, and culinary experimentation share the same stage.
